There are nine puppies in this litter. Six boys who are mostly black with some white (two are wavy, two are curly and two are inbetween) one curly brown boy, and three mostly black curly girls.
They are being raised with the Puppy Culture protocol. This is a proven method for raising puppies that are resilient and bounce back when encountering new experiences. They are the third generation of Puppy Culture puppies. Their grandmother Ruby (who is 11) was my first Puppy Culture litter. All of her puppies were raised with Puppy Culture, and now Xena’s puppies are being raised with Puppy Culture.
These early experiences and the solid temperaments of their parents mean these puppies, with the training necessary for any dog, should become well behaved, well-mannered adults.
Both Xena and Streak are Champions, and have titles in water, scentwork, tricks, barn hunt and FASTcat. Streak has titles in other dog sports and Xena has been certified to find Spotted Lanternfly eggs.
Both Xena and Rogue Have had all the testing recommended by the PWDCA (Portuguese Water Dog Club of America.)
