About the Spotted Lanternfly
Why the interest in Spotted Lantern Flys?
Training to find Spotted Lanternfly eggs
When we started training, Spotted Lanternflies (SLF) were still rare in New England, so we were provided with deactivated eggs in metal mesh packets to train with. In this practice session, a single egg packet is stuck on a branch. The wind is coming from the west (left side of the area), bouncing off the bushes on the right side and swirling around the planted areas.
